Since the Spring of 2013 Feed Our Scholars committee members have raised tens of thousands of dollars through their local fundraising efforts, grant writing, and the generous fundraisers from the community at large. Stayed tuned for our next fundraising effort!
We kicked off 2019 in February with our first fundraiser: Paint Night with Cre8tive Events at St. Philip’s Church. There was music, refreshments, and art instruction for all. Everyone left with a beautiful painting of a chickadee winter scene. If you have an idea for a FOS fundraiser please contact us via our contact form on our Home Page or via Facebook.
A BIG Thank You to Ames True Value Supply in Wiscasset for providing us a space for our Holiday Bake Sale in December. Ames is located on Route 1 in Wiscasset and a valued FOS supporter.
Another BIG Thanks to Wiscasset Speedway which hosted our Touch-a-Truck fundraiser in September. If you have an idea for a Feed Our Scholars fundraiser or would like to be a sponsor of one, please Contact Us via our contact form on our Home Page.
Sue Begin from Cre8tive Events & Party Nite offered fun and instruction during our first Paint Night Fundraiser on May 11th at St. Philip’s Church. We had a huge turn out and we are doing it again just in time for Valentine’s Day 2019. Again at St. Philip’s Church from 6 – 8:30 on Friday, February 8th!
Our 2017 Fundraisers:
Our Holiday Bake Sale in December offered up a large variety of baked goods: pies, cookies, breads, brownies, cakes and more. Ames Supply in Wiscasset provided us with indoor space from early morning to the afternoon.
Despite the April Fool’s snow storm we had a wonderful turnout for our PotLuck/Recipe Auction fundraiser at the Congregational Church in Wiscasset raising $830.00 for Feed Our Scholars.
Our 2016 Chowder/Soup Supper & Dessert Auction:
